Check out the Turner Family Tree.

In the last update—Daniel and Ashlee were very busy running their animal shelter and growing food on their farm for their organic grocery store. Daniel published a book, Stargate SG-1, which was a best seller. They started a family of their own when baby Samantha was born at the end of the round.

Season 9—Fall

Things were even busier for the Turners after the birth of baby Samantha. Ashlee did decide to take her full maternity leave before starting her career in the culinary track, but she still had the farm and her organic grocery store to run. Daniel still had his job in education, and he spent a lot of time running their animal shelter. They both loved being parents and caring for Samantha. No matter how busy they were, they always had time for her.

Being a father inspired Daniel to begin writing a new novel, this time aimed at children. He hoped that it would sell as well as Stargate SG-1 had once he finally finished it, but it was hard for him to find time for his writing with everything that was going on.

Things were very active in the animal shelter as well. Daniel and Ashlee were breeding their two cats, Nagi and Nephthys.

They also had a puppy and a kitten they were raising until they were ready to go to a good home. Nephthys immediately took to mothering baby kitten Kurama.

Nagi was very concerned when Nephthys went into labor, but all went well. She gave birth to one kitten, Anubis.

Then Taki and Kurama became adult pets and were given to Rachel to find good homes for them.

Since there was room in the shelter, Nagi and Nephthys decided to try for more kittens. This time Nephthys had two kittens, Apophis and Amaunet.

The animals weren’t the only ones creating fireworks. As busy as they were, Ashley and Daniel always made time for each other.

One day when Ashlee was out tending the farm, she began to notice that she was feeling very ill. She pondered if she might be pregnant again. She’d felt like this when she was pregnant with Samantha.

But there really wasn’t time for her to worry about it. It was time for Samantha’s second birthday party.

Daniel’s nephew Severus went up with Ashlee to go get baby Samantha ready for the party. Severus had never really thought of himself as much of a family man, but now that Lily was officially going steady with him . . . He’d love to have children with her some day, and he didn’t want to seem like an idiot that had no idea what he was doing. But that was getting way ahead of himself. He was certain that he would do something to screw it up or that Lily would come to her senses and break up with him. It would break his heart someday, but it was nice to dream of having a family with her.

Shenene was a bit surprised that her son wanted to learn more about babies, but she thought it was cute. She wouldn’t mind being a grandmother some day.

Ashlee brought Samantha to the cake, and all of the relatives gathered around. Samantha became a beautiful little toddler right before their eyes.

After the roof raiser party, Daniel began to take on more of the child care responsibilities, because Ashlee was definitely pregnant. She didn’t have too much trouble with morning sickness, but she was drained all of the time.

It was quickly apparent that Samantha was one of the smartest toddlers Emerald Isle had ever seen. She was talking and walking almost right away, and she had off-the-chart mechanical skills for a toddler.

In the animal shelter, Anubis grew up into an adorable cat. Anubis clearly had his father’s eyes and body, but had a white patch on his chin like his mother. The Turners were sad to see Anubis go, but they were sure that their friend Rachel would have no problem finding a good home for Anubis since he was so beautiful.

Ashlee went into labor late one night.

“Daniel, Daniel, it’s time,” Ashlee screamed.

“Wh-What?” Daniel stammered half-asleep.

“Ay-Ie!!!!” Ashlee screamed.

This time, Ashlee gave birth to a boy. They decided to name his Danny, since he seemed to be a little version of his father.

They were such a gorgeous, young family.

With two little ones in the house and still so much to do, they decided to hire a butler. It really wasn’t Ashlee and Daniel’s style. They were down-to-Earth, natural people, but they couldn’t keep up with the house work, the farm, the animal shelter, child care, and their jobs. They weren’t sure how much help a butler would be. They didn’t want their children being raised by a nanny, but perhaps the butler would keep things nice and tidy. They would just have to wait and see.

Author’s Notes

I think Anubis is a beautiful cat. I’ll definitely have him adopted back into my hood later. I’ll try to make a pet family tree next season.

This family may be my richest family. They just seem to keep hitting big bonuses at work, and the organic grocery business brings in a lot of money. They earned 100,000 simoleons this round alone.
