In the last update—Daniel Turner, the youngest of the Turner orphans, left for college. Moments after he left, his Grandfather Nicholas passed away. Evan Sinclair left for college hoping that he could finally make his father proud, despite the fact that Evan’s step-brother had every hint of being the talented athlete Gary wanted. Alyssa Cory broke up with her boyfriend, George, because he didn’t want her to go to college. It was hard for Alyssa to leave, but she had dreams of being a school teacher some day.

Season 6

Amanda Cory put her arm around her daughter as she stared in awe at her daughter’s new college. “My baby is going to college. It’s what I’ve always dreamed of for you.”

“Mom!” Alyssa said with exacerbation. “I’m not a baby anymore. I’m an adult now.”

Alyssa was shocked when her mother gave her an enormous bear hug. “You’ll always be my little girl. Promise you’ll call home every week, and come home for Christmas.”

“Sure, Mom,” Alyssa said, still taken slightly aback. Alyssa knew that her mother loved her, but she also knew she hadn’t been her mother’s top priority growing up. Amanda had always been more concerned about making popular friends and getting promotions at work. Maybe seeing Alyssa grow up was making her more of a family sim after all.

Alyssa was moving into a dorm at Academie Le Tour with her lifelong friends, Evan Sinclair and Daniel Turner.

Evan was felt slightly jealous as he watched Amanda drop Alyssa off. He wanted his dad to take him to college. Maybe his dad could have even said that he would miss him. But instead, Evan had come in a taxi cab alone. He knew that his dad was busy caring for Ethan and working in his new job as a lawyer, but it still left that stinging feeling of being unloved in his chest. Mildly depressed, Evan carried his suitcase upstairs in the dorm to find his new room and his friend, Daniel.

Evan felt guilty for feeling sorry for himself the moment he saw Daniel. Daniel’s parents had died when he was a toddler. Maybe seeing all of the parents dropping of their kids was bringing up painful memories for him. Whatever the reason, Daniel was crying. “Daniel, what’s wrong?” Evan asked with concern.

“He died right after I left. Grandfather Nicholas died right after I left. It was bad enough with Mom and Dad and Grandpa Monty. I . . . I know I was never really that close to Grandfather Nicholas. He did say that he didn’t want me and my brothers when Mom and Dad died, but he had lived with us for so long, and we kind of made up as he got older. He was actually pretty kind there to me in the end. He was the only adult I had left, you know, and he just died. Maybe if I had stayed, maybe . . . .”

“Shh, Daniel, there’s nothing you could have done.” Evan gave Daniel a hug to try to make him feel better. Alyssa walked up behind them and gave them both a hug, too.

“I . . .I miss my family. I’m not ready for college. Grandfather Nicholas just died, and I’m here all alone.”

“You’re not all alone here, Daniel,” Evan tried to comfort him. “You’ve got me and Aly. We’re your family here. We’re going to be here for each other. That’s what friends do.”

“I miss my brothers. I miss my cat. If I just had my cat, Liebe, here I could cry into his soft fur. I can’t take this. I want to go home. I wasn’t ready for college. I just can’t take this. I want to go home.”

Evan was really worried now. Daniel was having a full fledged nervous breakdown. Alyssa took over. She led Daniel into his room and held him while he cried. “Call his brother,” she instructed. “I’ll stay with him until Will or Klaus gets here to take him home.”

“Do you think I should call the school shrink?” Evan asked. He was very worried about his friend.

“No,” Alyssa whispered. “I don’t think he’s that bad yet. Just call Klaus or Will to come get him.” Alyssa hugged Daniel and whispered soothing things to him. Evan returned and informed them that Klaus was on his way. Daniel continued to cry, but Evan and Alyssa both tried their hardest to keep him calm until Klaus came to pick him up.

Klaus took Daniel home to attend Nicholas’ funeral. He stayed there for a little while to attend Klaus’ wedding as well.

After he left, Evan and Alyssa went to the coed bathroom to splash some water on their faces. “That was intense,” Evan commented as he massaged his temples. He really was worried about his friend.

“You were great, though. Some of the things you said were so sweet,” Alyssa said as he leaned in to hug Evan. “You really are one of the sweetest guys I know, Evan.”

As Alyssa pulled back from the hug, she felt an amazingly strong attraction to Evan. He’d been her best friend her entire life, but suddenly she felt more. Her mind was exhausted. She didn’t really think about what she was doing as she softly brushed her lips on Evan’s for a gentle kiss.

Evan’s entire body stiffened. His mind was spinning. Alyssa had just kissed him, but . . . it didn’t necessarily mean that she felt the same way about him as he had felt about her for years. Before he did anything he would regret later, Evan asked, “Aly, did you mean to do that?”

“No . . . Yes . . . I don’t know!” She blushed.

Evan’s heart sank. She’d only done it because she was tired and looking for comfort. She didn’t love him like he loved her. “It’s okay,” he whispered.

“I didn’t say to myself ‘I’m going to kiss Evan now,’ but it felt right. What does that mean, Evan?” Alyssa asked.

He gave her a friendly hug and held her. “It means it’s been a very long and stressful day. A lot has changed. Coming to college can be overwhelming. Maybe you’re feeling a little desperate for a boyfriend after breaking up with George?” He cursed himself for being honest with her, but he wouldn’t take advantage of her. He didn’t want to jeopardize their friendship.

“Maybe,” she admitted as she rested her head on his chest. “But, I’m sure that the attraction I feel for you is real.”

“You’re . . . you’re attracted to me?” Evan asked in disbelief. He hoped that she couldn’t feel how fast his heart was racing.

“Very much so,” she whispered.

Evan took a deep breath to steady himself. He didn’t know what to do. He loved Alyssa and wanted a romantic relationship with her, but he would not be her bounce back boy. His friendship with her meant too much to him. It was horribly embarrassing to think about sharing his feelings, but in the end, honesty seemed his only choice. “Alyssa, I’m going to tell you the truth, and I hope it doesn’t ruin our friendship. I’ve had a crush on you for, well, for as long as I can remember. But, you were with George, and I didn’t want to make things awkward by telling you. I want to be with you, but I want to be with you forever. I don’t want to start a relationship if you’re not sure that’s what you really want.”

“I think I love you, too,” she whispered. “I am a bit overwhelmed, but I care about you so much. I trust you. I’m very strongly attracted to you. I know you’d be good to me and treat me right.”

“Maybe we could take it slow,” Evan suggested. He tried to remind himself to just that, but it was hard when he was close to Alyssa. A simple caress of her face led to some slow dancing, which led to the most wonderful kiss Evan had ever experienced.

He did manage to stop himself when she asked to spend the night in his room. He let her stay. They both could use the comfort of snuggling close, but he restrained himself from acting on his urges. He was still afraid that she would break up with him or change her mind about liking him romantically. He didn’t want her to do something that she would regret or that would come between their friendship.

As they drifted to sleep Alyssa asked him a few questions. She thought she knew what his answers would be, but she needed to be sure. “Evan, do you want kids someday?”

“Yeah, someday. I think I could be a good dad,” Evan replied.

“That’s good. You wouldn’t be upset if I wanted a career, too, though would you? You wouldn’t expect me to stay home and watch the kids?”

“Of course not,” he snuggled her closer. “I don’t think either of us would want our children being raised by a nanny, but I’m sure we could work something out. Maybe I could work from home a few days a week or maybe I could take a short leave to help if we need. We don’t really have to figure this out tonight do we?” Evan asked.

Alyssa smiled happily. “No, we don’t have to figure it all out tonight.” She knew that she’d found her partner for life now. She didn’t know how she’d missed it earlier. She felt comfortable and safe with Evan. They’d always been there for each other, ever since they were children. They already knew everything about each other, so there weren’t any secrets. She also knew he would always treat her right. They belonged together.

Daniel returned to campus. He’d attended his grandfather’s funeral while he was away. That was very sad, and he’d had a minor breakdown there. But, his brothers were there for him. Will and Klaus helped make him feel better. He also got to attend his brother Klaus’ wedding while he was gone. Being around all of that family helped pull Daniel out of his depression. He became best friends with his sister-in-law and that improved his mood as well. He realized that he just had to find the right girl to get married to, and then his plans for his life would be back on track.

“Are you feeling any better?” Evan asked his friend in the shower that morning.

“I want to have a baby,” Daniel said as he thought of his plans for the future.

“Okay then,” Evan said. He’d have to really help his friend make it through class for the next few weeks.

They met up with Alyssa in Daniel’s room. “So, what did I miss while I was gone?” Daniel asked.

“Not much, they went over declaring majors in a general orientation class,” Alyssa informed him.

Daniel sighed. “I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I love learning, and I’m sure I’d love any of the classes in this brochure, but I’m not sure what career I should go into. I know I want a family and I want to help abandoned pets, but picking a career seems like such a huge decision.”

“Go into teaching, Daniel. That’s what I’m doing. I want to be an elementary school teacher to work with young children. You know how much I love kids. But, I could see you being a language professor a college. There are a lot of benefits to being a teacher. You get good hours, and it’s easier to teach your own children. I think you’d like that.”

Daniel accepted Alyssa’s idea. Being a university professor seemed like a good job for him someday. Both Daniel and Alyssa called the registrar’s office and declared a major in psychology. That was the best track to becoming a teacher. The only person who still had to decide was Evan. He begrudgingly flipped through the majors brochure. “I suppose I should find something that will teach me to be a good police officer some day. I’m sure my father wants me to go into law enforcement, just like him.”

Alyssa pulled the booklet out of his hands. “Evan Sinclair, I will not let you chose what you do with the rest of your life just to try to please your father. Your dad will be proud of you no matter what you do.”

“I don’t know,” Evan said. “He says that, but I know he wants me to be a cop like he was.”

“Forget about your dad for a minute. If it were completely up to you, what would you do?”

Evan blushed. “Promise not to laugh,” he whispered.

Alyssa squeezed his hand. “I promise.”

“You know I like using my creativity. I like painting, art, and writing. What I’d really love is to go into journalism. Aly, do you think that your mom would give me a job at Cory publishing after I graduate?” Evan tentatively asked.

“I know she would. Heck, if we end up getting married, she’ll probably let you take over running the company for her some day if you really are interested in it.”

“You two hooked up while I was gone, didn’t you?” Daniel asked.

“Yes,” Alyssa admitted. She was worried that this would upset Daniel. She knew that he’d had a crush on her, too. She also knew it would put more pressure on him to hook up, but she wouldn’t lie to her friend.

“I’m happy for you,” Daniel said honestly. It did make him more desperate for a girlfriend, though.

Alyssa turned her attention back to Evan. “Evan, go declare a major in art. I know that’s what will make you happy. Mom hires art majors all of the time for the paper, and you can spend more time on your painting that way, too.”

Evan hesitated. “Dad won’t think much of me being an art major.”

Alyssa sighed. “Evan, for once stop worrying about what will make your father proud and do what you want.”

Evan took a deep steadying breath. At least Alyssa would stand by his decision. He dialed the number to the registrar’s office. “I’d like to declare a major in art, please.”

At lunch that day, it was obvious that Daniel still wasn’t quite himself. He asked a complete stranger in the cafeteria if she wanted to marry him.

“Excuse me? Did you just say marry you?” the girl became angry. “You’re weird.”

Daniel didn’t feel like working on his school work. He didn’t even feel like reading a book, which is normally what he did for fun. He headed to the common room to see what he could do to gain some fun and social. There he saw the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen. “Will you have my babies?” he found himself asking.

“Excuse me?” she said angrily. “What did you just ask me?”

Daniel put his palm to his forehead. He couldn’t believe he’d said that out loud. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean that. I’ve just been upset recently, because my grandfather just died. Forgive me for acting so weird?”

“Oh, you poor thing. My grandpa died not that long ago, too. That’s so sad. Do you want a hug?” she asked.

“My name’s Ashlee. Maybe we could be friends?” she offered.

“Hey, Daniel,” Evan approached them. “Alyssa and I are going to go to the campus gym for a work out. Do you want to come?”

“Can my new friend, Ashlee, come?” Daniel asked with a smile.

Evan gave her an appraising look then smiled. “Sure!”

Daniel and Ashlee worked on the treadmill.

While Evan pushed himself extra hard trying to max out his body skill. It was painful, but he was sure that it would please his father. Maybe it would cushion the blow of announcing that he’d chosen to be an art major if he could also tell his father that he made the football team.

Evan pushed himself until he was about ready to pass out. Alyssa made him come back to the dorm and get something to eat. He still managed to pass out in his food, though. He was pushing himself too hard.

Daniel’s friendship with Ashlee was going really well, but he wanted more. He asked her on a date, and finally she agreed. He took her dancing downtown, and they had a great time.

Daniel knew that he was moving rather quickly with Ashlee, but they both wanted a family. Daniel loved her, and he knew she couldn’t deny the attraction she felt for him. While on the dance floor, Daniel decided to seize the moment. He’d either end up blissfully happy or ready for a real sim shink visit. Luckily, it worked out for him and he and Ashlee shared their first kiss.

After that, they were officially a couple. They spent all of their time together. They didn’t have to go on fancy dates. They were comfortable just sitting together on the couch watching a football game or talking about their future.

Daniel suggested they all join the fraternity his brother had belonged to. A simple phone call, a little bit of hanging out, and it was a done deal.

Evan was still working on maxing out his body. He finally achieved his goal in the middle of the night.

Unfortunately, trying to be the best at sports and have prefect grades was taking its toll on Evan. He was exhausted and had headaches all of the time.

Daniel was still missing his family. He was ecstatic about having Ashlee as his girlfriend, but he still missed his brothers. Will’s son, Harry, was growing up without his Uncle Daniel. It was hard being away from his family for so long.

The next day, Daniel called his brother, Will, to talk to him. He told him about Ashlee, but he also told him that he was feeling a little bit down. He missed his brothers and his cat.

“I’ll be right over,” Will told him.

“No, Will, you don’t have to do that. I know you’re busy with your job and caring for Harry,” Daniel said quickly.

“I’ll be right over,” Will said firmly.

It felt good to hug his brother again. Will even brought Daniel’s cat for a visit. That really made him feel good.

The trio completed freshman year with 4.0 averages. They decided as a group that they’d had enough of dorm life. They bought the house that Klaus had lived at while at college. Daniel nervously asked Ashlee to move in with them, and she accepted.

Daniel was surprised when Ashlee told him that she hadn’t declared a major yet. “I hope this doesn’t disappoint you, but I kind of just want to be a stay at home mom,” she admitted.

“Why would that disappoint me?” Daniel asked. “I’d love to have you stay home and raise your children. And to have you watch the puppies and kittens. You wouldn’t mind that would you?”

“Are you kidding? I’d love to rescue a bunch of animals from a shelter. Would you seriously be supportive of me doing that?” Ashlee asked with excitement.

“Definitely,” Daniel said with a smile. “But you should still probably pick a major. Isn’t there anything you’d like to learn about? Anything you might in your wildest dreams consider doing?”

“Well, I’d like to learn to be a better cook. That way I could cook better meals for our family,” Ashlee said. Ashlee chose to major in philosophy. She’d have the opportunity to take some cooking and art classes that way, both of which interested her.

With that decided, Ashlee began working on her term paper while the other students began studying. It was much better studying in their own home compared to the crowded dorm library.

The four of them were quickly able to build their skills. Alyssa even picked up a hobby. She learned to craft toys for children. Evan was able to make good progress toward maxing all of his skills as well.

Having their own home also meant that Daniel and Ashlee could finally woohoo without worrying about being overheard by the other dorm members.

One major distraction did occur, though. A man came and handcuffed Evan. Evan tried to stay calm, but he was so scared. “Please, I haven’t done anything,” he begged. The man put the handcuffs on extra tight anyway.

“Look, my father was a police officer for Emerald Isle. He’s a lawyer now. Will you please call him? I have a right to a lawyer. Please?” Evan tried his hardest not to cry.

“Get in the car,” the man said angrily.

It was all a big joke. Evan had been inducted into something called the Secret Society. When he was finally returned home, Evan told his friends about it.

“Oh yeah, my brother warned me about that,” Daniel said.

“What!” Evan said angrily. “And you didn’t warn me? I thought I was going to jail!”

“Sorry,” Daniel said honestly.

In the next few days Alyssa, Ashlee, and Daniel were all inducted into the Secret Society as well. They always seemed to come right in the middle of dinner, which had a certain way of ruining a great dinner party. Worse, the handcuffs hurt just as much as Will had always claimed they did.

Things got a little rough after that. They were all working very hard for good grades and to maintain friends. Alyssa was so exhausted one night; she somehow got into the wrong bed.

“Alyssa, what are you doing?” Evan’s heart plummeted as he saw his girlfriend in bed with his best friend.

“Ev, we didn’t do anything. I’m just so tired I fell asleep in the wrong bed. You know I’d never cheat on you,” Alyssa tried to explain.

Evan looked at them suspiciously, but eventually nodded. He trusted Alyssa. If that’s what she said happened, then he’d believe her. “Come on; let’s go sleep in our bed.”

It was worse the next morning. Robin, an evil mascot, tried to flirt with Daniel over the breakfast table. Daniel immediately rebuffed her, but Ashlee was very upset about it.

“Daniel, how could you?” Ashlee cried.

“How could I what?” he asked in confusion.

“Oh!” she ran from the room sobbing.

Daniel was about to race after her, but Evan stopped her. “Let me,” he said.

“Stupid cow lady,” Daniel whispered as he picked up the dishes.

Evan found Ashlee crying outside. “I’m moving out,” she said as he approached her.

“Ashlee, don’t. I know you’re mad right now, but Daniel would never flirt with another girl.”

“He did. He did right in front of all of us!”

“She flirted with him, and he told her to stop,” Evan explained.

“But, what did he do to encourage her to flirt with him like that? You might believe that crazy Alyssa got confused which bed was hers excuse, but I have a brain. Daniel is obviously trying to get together with other women.”

“Ashlee, listen to me. I’ve known Daniel my entire life. If there’s one thing that I know, it’s that family means more to him than anything. Losing his parents so young really affected him. There’s nothing he cares about more in life than you and his brothers.”

Ashlee sighed. “I won’t move out. I’ll think about it, but I’m still furious with him.”

That night Ashlee refused to sleep in the same bed as Daniel. “You can sleep on the couch,” she said.

“Why should I have to sleep on the couch?” Daniel was outraged. “I didn’t DO anything!” he repeated.

“Ashlee, you can sleep in my bed,” Evan offered. He didn’t want to see his best friend lose his girlfriend. He just wanted everyone to be happy. “The girls can sleep together, and I’ll sleep in the same bed as Daniel. How’s that?”

Daniel wasn’t too happy with the arrangement, but at least everyone got a bed to sleep in.

The next morning Evan took Daniel aside. “You have to apologize to Ashlee,” he explained.

“But I didn’t DO anything!” Daniel was getting sick of saying that.

“Look, it doesn’t matter. She’s mad, and it’s making you both miserable. Trust me; I’ve seen my Uncle Cameron make up with so many women for actually cheating. I know what works. Bring her some flowers and apologize.”

“I don’t even know what I’m supposed to be apologizing for. I told that girl to stop flirting with me!”

“It doesn’t matter. Just tell her that you’re sorry. You want to get back with her, right?”

In the end Daniel decided to take Evan’s advice. He loved Ashlee and would do anything to get back together with her.

“Ashlee, I’m so sorry I upset you. You mean the world to me. Please forgive me?” Daniel asked.

“It’s all right, Daniel. I understand now that you really weren’t encouraging that cow girl to flirt with you. I’ve heard some gossip, and apparently she’s a slut. I’m sorry I blamed you. Can you forgive me for getting so mad?”

“I love you, Ashlee.” Daniel hugged her and then they kissed to make up.

“We finally get to sleep back in our own beds,” Daniel said with glee to Evan. “I think it’s time for some reunion woohoo, huh?”

Evan turned bright red.

“I don’t believe it. Don’t tell me. You and Alyssa haven’t done it yet?” Daniel asked in disbelief. He could read his best friend well enough to know for sure.

“It’s just at first I wanted to take it slow. Now we’ve waited so long, I’m worried she’s set her expectations to high. I don’t want to disappoint her.”

“Alyssa loves you, Evan. Do yourself a favor and relieve some of that building tension,” Daniel advised. That night he got his wish and was able to fall asleep snuggling Ashlee.

Evan was extremely nervous. It had been years since his Uncle Cam gave him some basic instruction on making out with girls. He’d only ever been with Meadow, and that had turned out very badly. Alyssa seemed to appreciate the moves he’d learned, though.

After obtaining her gold badge in toy building, Alyssa moved on to flower crafting. In the meantime, Evan had finally maxed all of his skills. He’d read every book they owned and then some.

With all of his skills maxed, Evan decided to focus on his painting. He made a steady income selling masterpieces.

Senior year was approaching. All four sims still had 4.0 GPAs, but their college time was limited. With that in mind, Evan asked Alyssa out on a date. He began it right by bringing her flowers.

He took her to Londoste, the most expensive restaurant in town. As they ordered, he was sweating and jittery.

“Evan, what’s the matter with you? Why are you so nervous?” Alyssa asked.

Evan couldn’t handle the suspense any longer. He asked her to stand up and then took her hands. “Alyssa, you know I r-r-really love you. We were m-m-meant to be t-t-together.”

“Evan, you’re stuttering. What’s wrong?” Alyssa asked.

He fell to one knee. “I’m so nervous because I’m about to do this,” he said as he pulled out an engagement ring.

“Oh, Evan, yes, yes, I’ll marry you, yes!” Alyssa squealed.

Daniel wanted to ask Ashlee to marry him as well. He decided for a more natural setting. It seemed to suit him and Ashlee better. He took her to the park and proposed on the bridge.

“Ashlee, will you marry me?”

“Ohh, Daniel, it’s so pretty.”

“Is that a yes?” Daniel asked with a laugh.

“Yes,” Ashlee reassured him.

Daniel invited his brothers over to celebrate the good news.

Alyssa invited her mom and little brother over, too. She gave Matthew a kiss on the check. “Sissy,” he complained as he wiped off the kiss.

Evan asked his Uncle Cam and his father over as well. They had a large family dinner and then they decided to go fishing for some family relax time.

Back at home, the couples had started a small greenhouse. It was lots of work, but Ashlee, Alyssa, and Daniel were all able to get into the garden club. They received wishing wells for their effort. Alyssa and Ashlee also obtained gold gardening badges.

In what seemed like no time it was time for graduation. All four sims graduated summa cum laude in their chosen majors. They threw a giant party, and it was a roof raiser.

Author’s Notes

There’s a very interesting story about Daniel’s breakdown. I sent him to college from home when it was time. I always go to the college and move them into a dorm, so that they can still be called and invited over. I don’t save so that they remain teens until I’m ready to play with them as young adults. Nich died right after I sent Daniel to college. When I invited Daniel over after that he threw little temper tantrums and signs of aspiration desperation. At Klaus and Tiffany’s wedding, I was cheating for a few minutes to get some pictures. I made Daniel selectable and he immediately went into aspiration desperation. He actually grew up there and the sim shrink came. Of course, that was just for pictures. I was experimenting around and not actually playing. So I played the wedding for real. When I loaded my college lot, I was all ready for Daniel to grow up poorly and the sim shrink to immediately come. I know it’s negative points, but I thought it would be fun for the story. Guess what? I go to load the dorm, and Daniel is platinum. What??? Apparently something awesome happened at the wedding to make him really happy. He still has the memory of growing up badly. I wasn’t really sure if any negative points were required for this. It was interesting anyway.

I had already decided to put Evan and Alyssa together, but they did it on their own. They were just in the bathroom and the next thing I know they are kissing and in love. I didn’t think that sims did that on their own. I don’t have any hacks like that.

I was disappointed when Daniel, a family sim, wanted to raise puppies or kittens. Still, I like family sims, so I decided to let him stay that way. I find him a nice family sim girlfriend, and she wants puppies and kittens, too! Arghh. I must be crazy for letting them stay like that. Hopefully, if a kitten becomes a cat on their lot it will count for both of them. Still, it’s going to be a long time before they both become platinum.

I worked my sims nearly to death trying to get them to earn money. I picked expensive houses for both couples to eventually move into, so I worked the entire college time trying to earn them money. I did really well. The Turner couple has 163,172 simoleons. The Sinclair couple has 144,532 simoleons. This includes their scholarship money, 40,000 simoleons Will gave to Daniel as part of his inheritance, about 1,000 simoleons a day from Daniel and Evan painting masterpieces, 1,000 simoleons a day from the wishing well, money from gardening, money from digging for treasure (I had poor luck with this), and money Alyssa made crafting.

  1. Awesome job!! Your story is always soo creative!! You're an amazing writer. I'm not sure I've ever told you that afore. You really make your stories come to life. You could do an update without pictures and the story would still be great.

I've had two Sims fall in love when I wasn't looking who didn't have great chemistry afore too. I have no idea when they did it but I knew I hadn't done it because it was utterly unplanned. It lead to some very interesting drama. At least it worked out for you!!

    Great job!!

  2. Thank you thank you thank you for getting Evan and Alyssa together! My neighbor can attest to my happiness. Oops.
Ashlee is really pretty. Funny how most of your sims are blond, lol. You really worked your sims in college, while mine slack off so badly. Now they're rich. The homes had better be worth it, j/k. I love it, and I'm glad for your accomplishment. Those Uni rounds look really hard.

  3. I adore your stories, your prosperity challenge is what inspired me to blog my own, but man, I am so impressed with all you managed to accomplish in Uni! Whew! I'm sooo glad Evan and Alyssa end up together, yay! How in the world did you manage to have them do so much? LOL I'm tired just thinking about it. Great update! :)

  4. Nice update! Poor Daniel, what a hard, confusing time for him. I'm glad it all came out well in the end, and that he found a girl with the same hopes as he has.

I think that picture of Amanda and Alyssa is going to be me when I take my daughter to college--mom sniffling, kid just ready to go! :)

All that wrong bed stuff was funny--sims just don't get it, do they?

Wow, you can get more than one garden club membership and wishing well per lot? I never even tried--I guess I assumed it was per lot, per garden, not per sim. Ha, wishing wells will soon proliferate in my neighborhood, I hope!

Thanks for a very complex and touching update!

  5. Wow! What an update! I could actually feel the attraction between Evan and Alyssa. And I loved Daniel's proposal on the bridge! (I've had sims propose on that bridge before - great spot!)

Awesome job earning money for them for their future homes!

  6. I am impressed. Your story is so alive. It feels almost as if you are writing about your friends rather than your sims.

  7. Just wanted to let you know that both Sims will get the puppy/kitten grew-up memory. So you will be able to do it once and both Ashlee and Daniel will be perma-plat.
